Junior Back End Developer
We are looking for a junior back-end developer who is able to bring our strategy and design to life. We need you to work with us to get this platform through its first public beta by December 2022.
Job Description
- Develop high quality back-end for website
- Design and write with the cutting edge language to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of website
- Work with front end team to explore and create new design geared towards scale and performance
- Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards
- Engage in service capacity and demand planning, software performance analysis, tuning and optimization
- Work closely developer team and scaling back-end services as well as performing root cause analysis investigations
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Discover and fix bugs
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 1 years working experience in back end development
- Familiar with Python, FastAPI and backend workflow
- Familiar with Firebase platform
- Familiar with source version control and packages (Git, NPM)
- Basic understanding of front-end languages (eg. HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Familiarity with testing and debugging processes, including unit testing and UI testing
- Excellent understanding of the entire web development process and life cycle
Good to have:
- Experience with Javascript such as Node.js, Vue
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform
